At the Global AI Bill of Rights, we’re focused on how nations can best protect the rights of their citizens through AI Sovereignty (AIS) that is built on national languages, constitutions, laws, and data that reflect the people AI is meant to serve. Nations with sovereign AI improve the national security and economic robustness of their country, increase national competitiveness, broaden the tax base, and positively augment the opportunities for its citizens.

 

Each country must clarify the digital rights citizens must enjoy, invest in the physical infrastructure of the country to make access to AI broadly available, and make additional investments to support the creation of local AI projects, ventures, and public goods.
